PJ GERMAIN | DIRECTOR | CO-WRITER | PRODUCER
PJ Germain is an award winning Writer / Director based in Los Angeles, CA. As a first generation American, PJ developed his filmmaking voice in New York City. He is a graduate of Hofstra University and the American Film Institute Conservatory’s Directing Program. PJ’s career started on the Post Production teams for AVATAR, PIRANHA 3D, and the television docuseries DEADLIEST CATCH.
As an AFI Directing Fellow, PJ was awarded grants from the LucasFilm Foundation and Deluxe Laboratories for his thesis film GHOST LIGHT, starring Abraham Benrubi. The film has gone on to screen at over two dozen film festivals world wide since it’s premiere.
PJ is a proud member of the Motion Picture Editor’s Guild and most recently received WEBBY Awards for his production work with Coolbeans Comedy.
Utilizing his unique life experiences, PJ strives to represent his community, their stories and culture in mainstream storytelling, while inspiring a new generation of filmmakers to reach for their dreams and aspirations.
